If the same photo exists in several devices, the duplicated photos will not be displayed. I'm now quite confident it is all removed.The service is free, and there is no limit to the playmemoried of photos you can upload. Just a suggestion: Open a terminal and run below, make sure you have time machine enabled and backup first. I've found ugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins but I'm not sure that's the only file that needs to be removed. Specifically, I installed PMCADownloader.pkg and I want to uninstall it since it is useless to me and I don't want to spend the time to see what the conflict is that is causing it to crash. Can someone point me to info on how to uninstall this? Since the Mac downloader doesn't work, I want to remove it, but can't find any info on how to do this. I therefore switched to doing everything in camera, which worked (i.e., I updated the free remote app).
Tried with all major browsers (and some minor ones) and same result each time. Symptoms: I'm logged in, the camera is connected, I see appropriate messages saying the browser is verifying the connection, then the browser says the PMCA has crashed. Unfortunately, Sony's PlayMemories Camera Apps Downloader consistently crashes on my Mac. I've had my a7ii for a few weeks now, and was interested in trying some Sony apps.
